Terms and Conditions

By using this website or registering as a member of the Imade College Owo Old Students Association (IMACOSA), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Membership

• Membership is open to those eligible under the IMACOSA constitution and rules.
• You join by registering on this website and providing accurate, complete information.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or end a membership that breaks these terms or the association's rules.

2. Payments

• Dues, levies and other contributions can be paid online through Paystack or by bank transfer.
• Online payments are subject to Paystack's own terms. Bank transfers must include the payment reference we give you so they can be matched to your account.
• A bank-transfer payment is confirmed only after we verify it, which may take some time.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable unless we state otherwise or the law requires it.

3. Member directory

• Your name and year set appear in the public directory. Other profile details are visible only to logged-in members.
• Members must use directory information only for legitimate association and personal networking purposes. You must not scrape it, sell it, use it for spam or unsolicited marketing, or share it with outsiders.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Provide false information or impersonate another person
• Attempt to access accounts or areas of the site you are not authorised to use
• Disrupt or damage the site or its security
• Post or send unlawful, abusive or defamatory content

5. Content and intellectual property

The site's content, logo, text and design belong to IMACOSA or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them without our written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information.

7. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, IMACOSA is not liable for losses arising from your use of the site, from interruptions, or from information posted by other members.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
